The loading function calibrates and controls the correct level of water in the boiler. If the level probe is not covered by water, the pump and solenoid valve outputs will activate themselves. When the probe is reached again by water, the pump and solenoid valve outputs will deactivate themselves and remain switched off until the status of the probe changes again.
The loading function remains activated for a maximum of 150 seconds (so called time-out). After this period of time the pump and solenoid valve outputs are deactivated in order to protect the machine from eventual breaks or malfunctioning. Both an acoustic alarm and a LED indicate the malfunctioning.
In addition to the regulation of the pump, also the resistance is managed: it is activated if the minimum level probe is covered and deactivated if not. If the time-out period expires also the resistance is switched off. Activating the boiler resistance in the absence of water can be dangerous for the machine; the appropriate function deactivates the resistance whenever the level probe is uncovered. The deactivation time of the resistor is configurable by the user.
