Compact and easy to use, the RED33 controller is designed to measure, display and control temperature, from – 50 to + 150 °C, with the possibility of managing defrost cycles and fan operation.
The controller can directly drive, via three relays, a compressor, a heating element or valve for defrosting and the evaporator fan. It is activated when the temperature rises to the set point value + differential and is deactivated when the temperature falls to the set point value. The thermostat can also manage defrost cycles and the start/stop of the fan according to the temperature measured by the probe in the evaporator.
All parameters are user-programmable. It is also possible to select the type of defrosting, with heating elements or reverse cycle. The temperature in the cold room and in the evaporator is detected by two semiconductor NTC probes, which can be positioned up to 10 m away from the thermostat without the need to recalibrate the instrument. The temperature detected by the probe is displayed via a 3-digit red LED display.
